Venice Film Festival Gives “Birdman” A Soaring Review!!!

Last Night The Venice Film Festival opened its screenings with Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, and people are talking!!! The film, starring Michael Keaton, tells the tale of Riggan Thomson, a washed up actor trying to reinvent himself through the broadway stage. Variety writer Peter Debruge posted his Venice film review which can be found here! According to Debruge, Birdman is “a triumph on every creative level, from casting to execution, that will electrify the industry, captivate arthouse and megaplex crowds alike, send awards pundits into orbits and give fresh wings to Keaton’s career.” Be sure to check out Birdman or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance in theaters October 17th!!!
